Global Warming and Climate Theory in ‘A Truthful Myth’

At my home in Pennsylvania, the snow in February was the most on record. The heat in June was the highest on record.

This is really a contentious issue. Few climate scientists believe that the adverse impacts of global warming could turn abrupt. But some believe it is possible. The results would be catastrophic.  Even the mainstream thought is puzzling. Perhaps the generally accepted climate science theory of “gradual” warming, or any other climate science theory, is not “done”.  Perhaps factors other than human-induced warming due to man’s fossil fuel emissions are in play. Perhaps the science should be “open”.

The suspenseful new novel A Truthful Myth opens an exciting way to look at these questions and how they are intertwined with other factors such as politics, economics, human nature, and ideology. And if global warming did become abrupt – what would we do?
